PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE DAY 18: EXPERIENCING LIFE TOGETHER
Life is meant to be shared.
Real fellowship involves communicating intimately with other people. Its walking through life with other people who share your same faith, values etc. This fellowship includes "unselfish loving, honest sharing, practical serving, sacrificial giving, sympathetic comforting etc...
In Real Fellowship people experience:
1. Authenticity: Everyone needs a confidant that they can share their most intimate parts of their lives with someone else. The beauty of authenticity is that it frees us from hurts, negative feelings, failures, doubts, fears, and weaknesses.
2. Mutuality: This is the gift of giving and receiving which is the essence of fellowship. Ultimately, with this mutual desire to live, heal and move forward , fellowship allows for building reciprocal relationships, sharing responsibilities and assisting one another.
***AHA MOMENT: Additionally,engaging in fellowship will keep us encouraged, engaged and accountable. ***
3. Experience Sympathy: Sympathy is entering in and sharing the pain of others. We can share your hurts, get someone to listen intently and wholeheartedly. It will satisfy our need to be understood and validated.
4. Experience Mercy: Through fellowship, we get mercy and grace. It is an opportunity to release, so we can heal. Its an opportunity for us to be reminded that mercy and grace are available no matter the weight or magnitude of the sin. Its an opportunity for us to forgive ourselves, others and move forward with peace. Its opportunity to restore trust in others.

Day 17: A PLACE TO BELONG
PURPOSE DRIVEN DAY 17: A PLACE TO BELONG
We are called to belong ...not just believe. Day 17 is all about belonging to a church home where you can consistently attend, be fed, grow and pour back into church. In this season of our lives, we now know or have always know that each of us were called to achieve a particular purpose. This "purpose" although God given is not something that we can achieve alone. Maybe you have the innate abilities, such as gift of speaking, writing, singing, encouraging, dancing, creative arts, debating etc., but your particular purpose can not be achieved alone. You need the "the body of Christ" to help propel you forward, to pray for you, encourage, provide resources and provide well needed support along the way. GET CONNECTED!!!
In the bible, Paul identified that being a "member" of church meant being a vital organ of a living body, an indispensable, interconnected part of the Body of Christ. Meaning? We are all irrespective of our differences physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually are pieces that are necessary for the completion of this puzzle. The puzzle is our purpose. Your puzzle piece is just as necessary as the next person's puzzle piece. "You were created for a specific role, but you will miss this second purpose of your life if your not attached to a living, local church. You discover your role in life through relationships with others. (pg.133) Joining and faithfully going to church will grow that passion, desire, and eventually you will fill equipped to birth the purpose.
WHY YOU NEED A CHURCH FAMILY?
-A church family identifies you as a genuine believer.
-A church family moves you out of self-centered isolation.
"When you were born again, you automatically became a part of God's universal family, but you also need to become a member of a local expression of God's family."
Make a commitment to the body. There are several hundreds of thousands of churches locally and internationally, find one that you love and just go!

- You have been assigned a unique role in this family. It is needed to help the entire church.
-You will share in Christ mission in the world.
- "As members of Christ's body, we are his hands, his feet, his eyes and his heart." We are to share His love to the world.
-A church family will keep you from backsliding.
- "Mind your business" is not a Christian phrase. We are called and commanded to help one another stay on track. Satan wants you to be detached, so He can have the opportunity to get to you easily.
YOUR CHOICE:

DAY 16: WHAT MATTERS MOST
PURPOSE DRIVEN DAY 16: WHAT MATTERS THE MOST
"Life is all about love."Because God is love, He wants us to learn how to love Him, people especially those in the family of believers.
AHA MOMENT: God wants His family (Us) to be known for their love. FIRST POINT, He aspires for this love to witness to people. Again many people in this lifetime will never open a bible, so realize that you are the bible people will be watching and emulating. Moreover, if you are showing love to all people you come in contact with, it will spark something in those that observe you. SECOND POINT, love can not be learned on your own or by yourself. It involves active learning around all types of people -irritating, imperfect, frustrating people.
LIFE WITHOUT LOVE IS REALLY WORTHLESS
God says relationships are what life is all about. Relationships...not achievements or accolades is what matters the most.LOVE GOD AND LOVE PEOPLE. God even gave specific instructions concerning this in The ten commandments: "You must love the Lord your God with all your heart..." This is the first and greatest commandment. The second : "Love your neighbor as yourself."
LOVE WILL LAST FOREVER
It is eternal. Faith, hope and love continues forever...the greatest of them all is love. People will not remember you for the material things you gave them; rather, they will remember the way you loved them and made them feel. Value your family, friends etc because tomorrow is not promised and your legacy depends on it. As Mother Teresa once said, "Its not what you do that matters, but how much love you put into it that matters."
WE WILL BE EVALUATED ON OUR LOVE
We will be evaluated on how we loved in eternity. Jesus instructed the way to love is to care for the things that break His heart , love His family and care for their practical needs. It is illustrated in the bible: "Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did to me"<-----POWERFUL!!!! Remember this when interacting with people who you believe our not of your "standards" or so you say or think. However, it is way you choose to treat people that can do nothing for you is what God is evaluating and assessing.
AHA MOMENT: THE BEST EXPRESSION OF LOVE IS TIME!
The most precious blessing bestowed upon you that is limited is TIME. Everyone has a limited time, so what you use your "limited time" for matters. So when you give people your time, it shows love. Why? because your are giving them a portion of yourself that you will never get back. Whenever you give time to communicate via phone, interact in person, support a person's endeavor etc, your making a sacrifice and sacrifice is the essence of love. LOVE means giving up --my personal quests for the acquisition of money, material items, goals and time to benefit someone else. Love is giving away the time you do not have to let people know they matter.
TOMORROW IS NOT PROMISED! LOVE TODAY YOUR FAMILY, FRIENDS AND PEOPLE YOU COME IN CONTACT WITH IN YOUR LIFE. AFTER ALL,
"BEST USE OF LIFE IS LOVE. THE BEST EXPRESSION OF LOVE IS TIME. THE BEST TIME TO LOVE IS NOW."
"Whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone."( Gal 6:10 NLT) Use every chance you have for doing good. (Esp 5:16 NCV) Whenever you possibly can, do good to those who need it. Never tell your neighbor to wait until tomorrow if you can help them now. (Proverbs 3:27 TEV)

DAY 15: FORMED FOR GOD'S FAMILY
HEY LADIES AND GENTS,,,I HOPE YOUR ALL WELL! KEEP GOING...WE ARE HALF WAY THERE. YOU WERE "FORMED FOR GOD'S FAMILY"
God is the one who made all things, and all things are for his glory. He wanted to have many children share his glory.
Hebrews 2:10 (NCV)
See how very much our heavenly Father loves us, for he allows us to be called his children, and we really are! 1 John 3:1 (NLT)
God's second purpose for our lives is to be apart of God's family. The entire bible is story of God building a family who will love him, honor him and reign with him forever.
Benefits of being in God's Family
1. You were spiritually born into God's family and were given some outstanding birthday gifts: family name, family likeness, family privileges, family intimate access and family inheritance.
The aforementioned statement solidifies you are rich...no matter how bank account looks right now. True riches come from being connected to God's family ...for peace, love and joy are over flowing in that household.
2. On Earth, we are given "the riches of his grace...kindness...patience...glory...wisdom...power...and mercy. These items are priceless. There is no amount of money that could outweigh these gift/riches.
3. Being apart of God's kingdom, gives us access to a mighty inheritance:
a. We get to be with God forever.
b. We will be completely changed to be like Christ.
c. We will be freed from all death, pain and suffering.
d. We will be awarded and assigned positions of service.
e. We will get to share in His glory.
Your inheritance is non-negotiable. It awaits you...no one has access except you!
Baptism: Identifying with God's Family
Baptism is not optional. Jesus commanded that we all be baptized as an expression of our faith in Christ. It an outward sign of your private commitment to God. It declares your faith, shares Christ burial and resurrection, symbolizes your death to your old life, and announces your new life in Christ. Moreover, it a public celebration of joining God's family. The only rule prior to baptism is that you believe.
Having a place in God's family is the highest honor and greatest privilege you will ever receive. Honor and treasure it! Live eternity minded! Live your purpose. Be the best version of yourself. Let God lead you and have joy, peace and love at the center of your daily living!

Day 12: Developing Your Friendship with God
HEY LADIES AND GENTS.
PURPOSE DRIVEN DAY 12: DEVELOPING YOUR FRIENDSHIP WITH GOD
I MUST CHOOSE TO BE HONEST WITH GOD:
We must come to the Father in complete honesty. We do not have to be perfect, but honesty is definitely needed. Like in any personal relationship we have with friends, we attempt to keep it truthful. Why? Because we value honest relationships. We do not have to be perfect in order to be God's friend because of the never ending Grace that He gives. Being expressive to God concerning feelings of doubt, anger, sadness are first steps to having next level intimacy with God.
I MUST CHOOSE TO OBEY GOD IN FAITH
Executing faith and trust is a big topic in this book. Every time we trust God and carryout the assigned task, our relationship with God deepens. He loves that you use your faith...after all, He is only asking for faith of a mustard seed to show you His abilities. Obedience shows that we love and trust God intimately. God appreciates when we do the "small things" for him in loving obedience, such as telling the truth, being kind, encouraging others etc.
I MUST CHOOSE TO VALUE WHAT GOD VALUES
You must care about what God cares about: redemption of His people. Be apart of the community sharing the love of God.
I MUST DESIRE FRIENDSHIP WITH GOD MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE.
The truth is we are as close to God as we desire to be! The bible says in order to find God, we must seek Him. He intentionally will cause distress in our lives for us to reconnect and fellowship with Him.

DAY 10: THE HEART OF WORSHIP
HAPPY SUNDAY FRIENDS!!! DAY 10 IS HERE...ENJOY!
THE FOUNDATION OF WORSHIP IS SURRENDER !" THE ACT OF SURRENDER IS CALLED MANY THINGS: CONSECRATION, MAKING JESUS YOUR LORD, TAKING UP YOUR CROSS, DYING TO SELF, YIELDING TO THE SPIRIT. THE BARRIERS THAT BLOCK OUR TOTAL SURRENDER ARE FEAR, PRIDE, AND CONFUSION.
CAN I TRUST GOD?
Trusting God is an essential component in order to fully surrender. Fear has a way of keeping us from surrendering but love casts out all fear. The greatest showing of sacrifice is when God sacrifice His son for us. "God proves his love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us." In surrendering ourselves to Jesus, we discover that He is a dear friend.
ADMITTING OUR LIMITATIONS
Pride is a hindrance to full surrender. Some of us want to be God meaning we desire to have full control of our lives. We need to stay in our lane...Never will we be God. Let Him drive...stay in the passenger seat.
MEANING OF SURRENDER
Surrender is obedience and trust. Let Go and Let God!

DAY 9: WHAT MAKES GOD SMILE?
HEY LADIES AND GENTS...DAY 9...LET'S LEARN WHAT MAKES GOD SMILE..??
The smile of God is the Goal of our life. The million dollar question though is how? We probably need to take some pointers from Noah in the bible. A man the repeatedly made God smile. God was so "done" with self-centered people that He wiped out the world except for Noah's family. So, Noah's family was the starting point for the remaking of man. WOWWWW!!!!
You may be thinking...What was so special about Noah?
-Noah Loved God Supremely, Trusted Him completely, Obeyed Him, Praised and Thanked Him continually and fulfilled His purpose.
God smiles when we love him supremely
The only desire of God's heart is a relationship with us. God made us to love us and He desires for us to love Him back. A relationship with God is so needed today because the world does not give us the peace, love and joy we are in search of. Rather it strips away at our peace, love and joy. Loving God does not require you to be perfect. Your acknowledgement of His existence and Jesus Christ is the best place to begin. After all, God is a jealous God as revealed in the first commandment: " Thou shall not put any Gods before me."
God smiles when we trust Him completely
As we have learned earlier in this journey, God knows our beginning, middle and end prior to our birth. He knows the trials and tribulations, joyful and regretful experiences we will face in this life before we do. He SMILES when we put our trust in Him anyway. As humans, we will doubt and wonder whether God is truly working on our behalf. He smiles when we trust Him even when things do not make complete sense. That is what faith is all about...believing in what you do not see. Trusting God completely means having faith that He knows what is the best for your life.TRUSTING IS AN ACT OF WORSHIP.WITHOUT FAITH, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD.
God smiles when we obey Him wholeheartedly
"Obedience unlocks understanding" (pg.74). As we obey God's commandments, ideals, and desires, our purpose will be made more clear and comprehensible. Often we try to offer God partial obedience which still is disobedience. Acting in obedience is an act of worship and love towards God.
God smiles when we praise and thank Him continually.
"He smiles when we express our adoration and gratitude to Him." (pg.75)
God smiles when we use our abilities.
"God enjoys watching every detail of our life, whether you are working, playing, resting or eating." God loves observing us live. He is just not watching spiritual aspects. He abides in all areas of our lives...NUMBER ONE SPECTATOR...MAKE HIM SMILE!
"Every human activity except sin, can be done for God's pleasure if you do it with an attitude of praise." Everything activity we engage in can all be done for the Glory of God! For instance, going to work, doing your homework, making a blog (lol), playing basketball, talking to a friend, creating an invention, working out etc. can all be done for the Glory of God.
"You bring Him enjoyment by being you. Anytime you reject any part of yourself, you are rejecting God's wisdom and sovereignty in creating you." --->> God made each and every one of us wonderfully and fearfully made in His image...NO MISTAKES! So, work what you got because you are SPECIAL! :)
AHA MOMENT:
" WHEN WE LIVE IN LIGHT OF ETERNITY, YOUR FOCUS CHANGES FROM "HOW MUCH PLEASURE AM I GETTING OUT OF LIFE?" TO "HOW MUCH PLEASURE IS GOD GETTING OUT OF MY LIFE?"
MOREOVER, WHEN WE REMEMBER THE "WHY," THEN WE REMEMBER ITS LESS ABOUT US AND MORE ABOUT HIM. AIM TO PLEASE GOD...NEVER MAN.

Loving God does not require you to be perfect. Your acknowledgement of His existence and Jesus Christ is the best place to begin. After all, God is a jealous God as revealed in the first commandment: " Thou shall not put any Gods before me."
God smiles when we trust Him completely
As we have learned earlier in this journey, God knows our beginning, middle and end prior to our birth. He knows the trials and tribulations, joyful and regretful experiences we will face in this life before we do. He SMILES when we put our trust in Him anyway. As humans, we will doubt and wonder whether God is truly working on our behalf. He smiles when we trust Him even when things do not make complete sense. That is what faith is all about...believing in what you do not see. Trusting God completely means having faith that He knows what is the best for your life.TRUSTING IS AN ACT OF WORSHIP.WITHOUT FAITH, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD.
God smiles when we obey Him wholeheartedly
"Obedience unlocks understanding" (pg.74). As we obey God's commandments, ideals, and desires, our purpose will be made more clear and comprehensible. Often we try to offer God partial obedience which still is disobedience. Acting in obedience is an act of worship and love towards God.
God smiles when we praise and thank Him continually.
"He smiles when we express our adoration and gratitude to Him." (pg.75)
God smiles when we use our abilities.
"God enjoys watching every detail of our life, whether you are working, playing, resting or eating." God loves observing us live. He is just not watching spiritual aspects. He abides in all areas of our lives...NUMBER ONE SPECTATOR...MAKE HIM SMILE!
"Every human activity except sin, can be done for God's pleasure if you do it with an attitude of praise." Everything activity we engage in can all be done for the Glory of God! For instance, going to work, doing your homework, making a blog (lol), playing basketball, talking to a friend, creating an invention, working out etc. can all be done for the Glory of God.
"You bring Him enjoyment by being you. Anytime you reject any part of yourself, you are rejecting God's wisdom and sovereignty in creating you." --->> God made each and every one of us wonderfully and fearfully made in His image...NO MISTAKES! So, work what you got because you are SPECIAL! :)

Day 8: Planned For God's Pleasure
Good Morning Ladies and Gents...Thanks for continuing on this journey with me. It will be fruitful...I promise! Have a great day on purpose! Today's Recap will be short and sweet....xoxox:
PURPOSE DRIVEN DAY 8: PLANNED FOR GOD'S PLEASURE
Reminder:
-You were planned for God's pleasure.
-You exist for his benefit, his purpose and his delight.
-God wants you to enjoy life, not just endure it.
We bring pleasure to God through the act of worship. As discussed on yesterday worship is more than singing, dancing and prasing in church. IT'S A LIFESTYLE. Everything you do unto God in spirit and truth is an act of worship. Worship is not for our benefit, rather it's a way of glorifying God. Moreover, the act worship benefits God. In Isaiah 29, God complains about worship that is halfhearted and hypocritical. These people were offering God stale prayers, insincere praise, empty words, and man-made rituals without even thinking about the meaning:
These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up only rules taught by men. Isaiah 29:13
We are to worship God all throughout the day from sun up to sunset. How? By doing everything throughout the course of your day as if you are doing it for Jesus and conversing with him simulataneously. Approach your daily activities with a "Im doing this for Jesus" mentality...not man. THAT'S MAKING WORSHIP A LIFESTYLE. In the process, naturally you will fall in love with Jesus because He will be at the center of your thoughts and life.

Day 7: The Reason for Everything
Hey Ladies and Gents...1 week into the New Year! This next phase of the book will look at the five purposes for our lives. ENJOY and we dig deeper. My sincerest prayer is that during this fast/prayer season, you will grow in your relationship with Christ, discover your purpose and know that your life is definitely cherished by the Most High!!! PURPOSE DRIVEN DAY 7: THE REASON FOR EVERYTHING
" The ultimate goal of the universe is to show the Glory of God. He made it all for His Glory." The best example of God's Glory is seen in Jesus Christ. Because of the self less sacrifice Jesus made and his obedience to the purpose of God, we are saved from sin and free.
We as people along with fallen angels(demons) fail to give God the Glory He is entitled to. That's extremely bad company (fallen angels/demons) to be acknowledged with...How do we alter this?
Recognize His Glory, Honor His glory, Declare His Glory, Praise His Glory, Reflect His Glory, and Live for His Glory....He Deserves it!
As we get into the next sections of the book, we will analyze and assess in detail specific ways to bring Glory to God. Here is a quick overview of how to bring Glory to God:
1. Through Worship. It is far more than singing, praising and praying to God. It is a lifestyle of enjoying God, loving Him and giving ourselves to be used for his purposes.
2. Loving other believers. We have to learn how to love as God does meaning loving people in spite of their maltreatment of you, even if they slander your name or intent on doing you physical harm. Love covers a multitude of sins. Sometimes love is just what is needed for people to heal.
3. Becoming Like Christ. We need to grow spiritually and then it will reflect in our character. It is an intense and complex project to become like Christ...but the reward for attempting daily far exceeds the burden.
4. Serving Others with our Gift. Believe it or Not!!! Someone out there in this world is depending on the gift, talent, skills and abilities you were entrusted with. If you fail to walk in purpose, this person or persons will not be able to reap because you did not sow.
5. Telling Others About Him . God's blesses us to be a blessing to others. When you share your experiences with God and what He has done for you to others it will bring more people to Christ and more Glory To God!

Day 6: Life Is a Temporary Assignment
GREETINGS LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, I TRUST THAT YOU ALL ARE DOING WELL.
PURPOSE DRIVEN DAY 6: LIFE IS A TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT
On yesterday, we spoke about life being a test and trust. Life is a test in the sense that God is paying attention to our daily circumstances, situations, personal interactions, and the way we react to them. Our reactions determine whether we are ready for the next blessing He has in store or whether He still needs to work on us a little using the Holy Spirit, so we can be prepared for advancement to attain His next level of blessings. Also, Life is a trust because God instilled/entrusted us with values, gifts, talents, intelligence, favor, opportunities and ability that He expects for us to use while on Earth to accomplish His purpose for our life. And lastly,
Life is Temporary Assignment
Lord, remind me how brief my time on Earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered, and that my life is fleeing away. Psalm 39:4 (NLT)
I am here on Earth for just a little while. Psalms 119:19 (TEV)
Never forget:
1. Life is extremely brief. Act accordingly which means discover your purpose, be your purpose and live your purpose. No apologies...live a full life daily.
2. Earth is your temporary Residence. Your only here for a predetermined duration of time. Don't get consumed by the material things or too comfortable here. Make use of everything around you to live a full life, but do not get attached. This is not your final destination.
AHA MOMENT
In an effort to prevent us from getting to attached to the world and the numerous "things" available, He allows and reasonable amount of "discontent" and "dissatisfaction" in life, so we can look forward to reuniting with Him and going "home...home." Therefore, that is why we go through personal trials and tribulations,terminal illness, possibly why we experience natural disasters, wars etc. With this ideal that there is a better place which awaits where none of the aforementioned exists, that will give us the peace to seek to know more about God.
This life is temporary. Today your here. Tomorrow your gone. Utilize your time on Earth the best way you know how...on purpose daily. Don't let life's unfortunate circumstances rob you of joy. Rather, always remember life on Earth is temporary and your real "home ..home" that awaits you is overflowing with an abundance of love, peace, joy and a Father who is waiting to embrace you.
POINT TO PONDER: THIS WORLD IS NOT MY HOME.
VERSE TO REMEMBER: " So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:18(NIV)
QUESTION TO PONDER: How should the fact that life on Earth is just a temporary assignment change the way I'm leaving life right now?

Day 5: Seeing Life from God's View
HEY LADIES AND GENTS...DAY 5!!! KEEP GOING...YOU STARTED...LETS FINISH!
PURPOSE DRIVEN DAY 5: GOD'S VIEW OF LIFE:
1. LIFE IS A TEST.
2. LIFE IS A TRUST.
3. LIFE IS A TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT.
TODAY, WE WILL FOCUS ON LIFE BEING A TEST AND TRUST! ENJOY THE RECAP!
LIFE IS A TEST. God continually is testing our character, faith, obedience, love, integrity and loyalty. There are numerous illustrations in the bible of God testing biblical characters, some passed and others failed. For instance, when God asked Isaac to offer his son as a sacrifice. That was a huge test of loyalty, obedience, faith and character all wrapped into one. God is continually observing our responses to these simple and large tests These tests are not to harm us, rather they are preparing us for bigger roles and assignments, PURPOSE and ultimately our eternal life. Our reactions have eternal implications. Every time you pass, the Father takes record of that and will reward you accordingly in eternity.
LIFE IS ATRUST. The time, energy, intelligence, opportunities, relationships and resources are all gifts from God that He entrusted for our care and management while on Earth. At the conclusion, we all will be evaluated on how well we handled what God entrusted to us. If we treat what God entrusts to us with care and importance as He directed, three main rewards await us in eternity:
1. God Affirmation
2. Promotion
3. Celebration
Value what God entrusts you with, there is too much at risk not too! Use everything inside of you...talents, gifts, purpose, passion...LEAVE THIS WORLD EMPTY.

****Money is a test and trust. It has been said casually several times in society and is uniquely express in bible that root of all evil is money. In NIV 1st Timothy 6:10: For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. God watches how we utilize money to assess whether we are trustworthy. There is a direct correlation with money management and God's entrusting us with spiritual blessings.
POINT TO PONDER: LIFE IS A TEST AND TRUST.

Day 4: Made To Last Forever
HEY FRIENDS...DAY 4 IS HERE! HOPEFULLY, ITS GETTING EASIER FOR YOU ON THIS FAST. REMEMBER THAT GOD WILL HONOR YOUR VOW AND SACRIFICE. CONTINUE TO BE IN PRAYER MORNING, THROUGH OUT YOUR DAY AND NIGHT ABOUT YOUR PURPOSE AND SPECIFIC PRAYER POINT FOR 2015. WATCH HIM MAKE BREAKTHROUGHS HAPPEN FOR YOU. I TOUCH AND AGREE WITH EVERY PRAYER REQUEST.
DAY 4: MADE TO LAST FOREVER
KEY POINTS:
1. "THIS LIFE IS NOT ALL THERE IS" We have eternity with Jesus to look forward to. So upon taking our last breath, there is more life to LIVE outside of Earth. So your time on Earth is really just a snapshot of what is to come. With that in mind, it is important to realize that ETERNITY offers two options: 1. Heaven or 2. Hell. Your present choice of accepting or denying Jesus determines your destination. It is truly that simple...no other strings attached. No, you do not have to be perfect, without sin, resemble Jesus in character etc. Actually, COME AS YOU ARE...sinner, addict, murderer, thief etc. He just wants your permission to love you unconditionally, help change your heart for your benefit, and use you for purpose He originally intended. CHOOSE JESUS AND LIVE FOREVER!
2.LIVING IN LIGHT OF ETERNITY- With this new found knowledge that you were "made to last forever" and that your present life determines your eternal life, you'll be led to alter things in your life. For instance, your values change, the way you handle relationships, your priorities are rearranged, your mindset changes. Somethings just begin to fall off your list of priorities because it simply does not matter more than achieving God given purpose. AS YOU LIVE, CONTINUALLY REMEMBER ETERNITY IN YOUR MIND AND VALUE IT IN YOUR HEART!
3. DEATH IS NOT THE END OF YOU Paradise awaits you when its your time. Heaven can not be compared to any place on Earth. The beauty and wonder of Heaven cannot be put into words. OMG THERE IS MUCH THAT AWAITS US IN HEAVEN :
1. Communion and Fellowship with God
2. Reunited with loved ones (who are believers)
3. Released from pain and suffering
4. Rewards for faithfulness on Earth
5. Reassigned to do work we enjoy
THIS LIFE IS PREPARATION FOR THE NEXT....ACCEPT JESUS AND LIVE ON PURPOSE!
POINT TO PONDER: There is more to life than just here and now.
VERSE TO REMEMBER : "This world is fading away, along with everything it craves. But if you do the will of God, you will live forever." 1 John 2:17 (NLT)

WHAT DRIVES YOUR LIFE?
HEY LADIES AND GENTS!!! I HOPE THIS REACHES YOU WELL...IM A BIT LATE TODAY. I HOPE YOU ALL ARE WELL! LEAVE COMMENTS BELOW TELLING ABOUT HOW THE FASTING/REFLECTION JOURNEY IS GOING SO FAR FOR YOU? DON'T FORGET...WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER. I'M PRAYING FOR YOU ALL DAILY THAT YOUR "PURPOSE," "DESTINY," "WILL" SHALL BE REVEALED TO YOU AS WE EARNESTLY SEEK HIM INDIVIDUALLY AND TOGETHER DAILY.

DAY 3: WHAT DRIVES YOUR LIFE?
"Everyone's life is driven by something." What drives you? What makes you get up in the morning? What makes you work hard? What are you doing? Who are you doing it for?
According to the "The Purpose Driven Life" book, commonly people are driven by:
1. Guilt- Some people are driven by guilt. Your past is in the past. Leave it there! God gives you opportunities daily to start afresh. He doesn't hold onto your mistakes. He wipes your slate clean when you repent. HE CAN STILL USE YOU FOR HIS PURPOSE. HE IS GREAT AT USING IMPERFECT PEOPLE TO DO PERFECT THINGS.
2. Resentment and Anger- Some people are driven by resentment and anger. It hinders your progression forward. When your angry or resent someone, have you ever noticed the energy it takes to have these feelings. It really takes a toll on a person. Have you stopped to notice that the other person is FREE, NOT WORRIED ABOUT YOU, SMILING, HAPPY, AT PEACE. Let it go for you...not for them.
3. Fear - Some people are driven by fear-"self-imposed" prison that will keep you from your destiny. Anything that comes easy is most likely not connected to your purpose. Why? Because God has called us to do great and mighty things that only His grace and presence can guide us through. "YOUR DREAMS ARE NOT BIG ENOUGH IF THEY DON'T SCARE YOU."-Unknown
4. Materialism- Some people are driven by material things. When every thing is said and done, nothing leaves with you when you die physically. Im not saying having nice things is bad because I aspire to have the finer things in life. However, I don't thing God intended for us to live our lives solely in search of the most expensive cars, clothes, shoes etc because it doesn't add to your personal value in His eyes.
5. Approval--Some people are driven by approval. The expectations of family, friends,co-workers can weigh us down emotionally, physically, spiritually. Ultimately, your only serving an audience of One.
What SHOULD drive our lives? PURPOSE!
Why? Because when its all said and done only two things matter:
1. Did you know Jesus?
2. What did you use your give gifts, talents, opportunities, energy, relationships, and resources given to you by God for? Did you spend them on yourself, or did you use them for the purposes God made you for?

PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE DAY 2: YOU ARE NOT AN ACCIDENT
HEY LADIES AND GENTS....DAY 2 (WIPES FOREHEAD) SO, HOW ARE YOU GUYS DOING? HOW WAS DAY ONE? THE FIRST WEEK IS PROBABLY GOING TO BE THE MOST DIFFICULT, BUT TAKE HEART GOD IS WATCHING AND WILL REWARD YOUR EFFORTS IN ABUNDANCE.
SO TODAY'S TOPIC--- "YOU ARE NOT AN ACCIDENT"
THIS IS MY SECOND GO ROUND WITH THIS BOOK AND I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THIS CHAPTER IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES...WHY?
BECAUSE IT REMINDS ME THAT THE "FLAWS" I BELIEVE I HAVE WERE ACTUALLY PUT THERE BY GOD HIMSELF AND ADD TO MY INDIVIDUALITY, UNIQUENESS, SASSYNESS, FABULOSITY (LOL) ... AFTER ALL, HE MAKES NO MISTAKES. AS HUMANS, WE QUESTION OUR REALITY, HOME ENVIRONMENT, OUR PARENTS, SIBLINGS, UPBRINGING, UNPLEASANT CIRCUMSTANCES AND/OR SITUATIONS WE FIND OURSELVES IN BUT IN ACTUALITY NONE OF IT IS BY CHANCE OR MISTAKE. THE WAY WE REACT DETERMINES WHETHER IT WILL PROSPER OR HINDER US...EVERYTHING WORKS TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD OF THOSE THAT LOVE THE LORD.

1. CUSTOM-MADE---> YES, YES, YES HONEY...GOD CREATED YOU WITH SUCH PRECISION, PURPOSE AND LOVE IN MIND. NOTHING ON YOU OR IN YOU... IS BY CHANCE. 2."MADE FOR A REASON" WE ALL HAVE A SPECIFIC DURATION TO LIVE ON EARTH AS PREDETERMINED BY THE CREATOR HIMSELF. BEFORE YOU WERE CONCEIVED, YOUR EXACT DATE OF BIRTH AND DEATH HAD ALREADY BEEN ESTABLISHED. LOOK... THE IDEA I AM TRYING TO GET ACROSS IS THAT WE ONLY HAVE A LIMITED TO OCCUPY THIS LAND BEFORE OUR FATHER CALLS US HOME. YOU HAVE DETERMINE WHETHER YOU WANT TO "LIVE" OR "EXIST"...TO LIVE WE MUST FIND OUR PURPOSE AND EXECUTE IT DAILY. TO EXIST...WE SETTLE FOR WHATEVER WE CAN GET WHICH GIVES NO JOY, LOVE, PEACE AND DEFINITELY NOT PLEASING TO GOD.

PURPOSE DRIVEN DAY 1: IT ALL STARTS WITH GOD
HEY LADIES AND GENTS:
I HOPE THIS REACHES YOU! HOW DID DAY ONE GO, THIS PERSONAL PURSUIT OF PURPOSE AND FASTING PROCESS IS NOT AN EASY TASK, BUT STAY THE COURSE. IT WILL BE REWARDING...:)
ITS NOT ABOUT US! (point to ponder) WHEN IT COMES TO OUR INDIVIDUAL AND UNIQUE PURPOSES, IT IS NOT UP TO US TO DECIDE. GOD CREATED EACH AND EVERY PERSON AND DECIDED BEFORE OUR EARTHLY EXISTENCE HOW HE WANTED TO USE US TO FULFILL "HIS PURPOSE."
IN SEARCH FOR "HIS PURPOSE", WE OFTEN START BY SEARCHING OUR SELVES. WRONG STARTING POINT...ACTUALLY, WE ARE SUPPOSE TO LOOK/TALK TO HIM BECAUSE AS THE CREATOR, HE INDEED KNOWS THE REASON BEHIND HIS CREATION.
TAKE AWAY POINTS FROM TODAY'S READING:
1. "You were made by God and for God." He is your creator, so He knows you better than you could ever possibly know yourself. Moreover, your strengths, weakness, failures, successes, talents, passions, work ethic, level of discipline, personality is not new to Him. So all those factors were acknowledged and considered when God made you and outlined your life and existence for a particular purpose.
2. "Being Successful and Fulfilling Your Life's Purpose is not the same issue." We can achieve the highest of success according to Earthly standards, but still fail to achieve God's purpose. Earthly Success is measured by the numerous amount awards, accolades, monetary compensation etc. However, heavenly success is measured by identifying and fulfilling the purpose designed for you. After all, there have been many "successful people" who have died with purpose still within them.
3. "How, then do you discover the purpose you were created for?" ASK GOD DAILY. SEARCH THE BIBLE DAILY. MOREOVER, SEEK HIM, THE CREATOR AND ANSWERS WILL COME. Honestly, God will show you maybe not all at once but as His own discretion. We are all at different levels of this thing called "LIFE," so His timing is the best. He speaks us to through in various means...nothing is ever by mistake. He uses people, dreams, situations to show us the way...Watch, Listen and pay attention for those opportunities.
